What an exciting read! Jack Archer is a reluctant warrior in a goofy way..but the action never stops. I loved this series!
This book gave the reader a satisfying end to an amazing trilogy. Each novel gave us great characters and situations to be resolved, and I really loved the fact that it was basically about family . . . the one you have and the one you've chosen.Be sure to read the books in order because they are marvelous!
Just finished the series and consider it a good book, but just wanted to give honest feedback. The first book started real slow and almost put it down but continued and was pleased how it picked up.One other thing bothered me, when Karen and friends reached the first base and sitting in the mess hall she sends her 7 yr old daughter off with alone with a male private. What mother that claims to love her child sends them off with a stranger?
Good conclusion to the three book series. I like kids but thought there was too much narrative about the seven year old girl with lots of pages about her and what she had to say about events. Maybe it was supposed to be cute. Anyway I’ll read his other series because he makes sense in explaining everything.
Year Zero is the third post apocalyptic survival book in the Jack Archer Survival Series trilogy written by author Keith Taylor.
I prefer happy endings, and as the second book in the series, this book tied the ending up in a pretty bow! Lots of believable action, and yay! America takes a bad hit but doesn't end! The constant struggle made me tired, but not sleepy! Good reading.
Very interesting plot, with sub-stories running throughout, and I was enthralled the whole time. I'm going to start the Willow Series next, so I'll let you know how it goes.
